Almost finished!

The cards a printed and their being finished up. They had a longer than normal drying time.... plus the custom stickers took some time to do. Here's some images of the stickers before they are applied to the playing cards tuck boxes.
I'm waiting on Backerkit to give me final approval to send it out to you guys. I'm hoping in the next day or two I can send that out.

WJ Printing just sent me photos of the cards coming hot off the press. There they print one side at a time. They'll be printing the back sides in the comping days. I also received the Apollo 11 Iron On patches that many of the pledge levels automatically get. For those wishing to add-on more patches, you can do so in the Backerkit.
Speaking of the Backerkit, I'm trying to find time soon to get that ready to send out. I'm hoping to be able to work on it tonight.
Backerkit Coming

The printing is scheduled to take place by the end of this week or early next week. I'll share photos from the printer as soon as I can.
I'm going to be using Backerkit for the survey for this project. I'll have additional items available to purchase. Some of the items will be related to Apollo 11 and some will be items form other playing card projects I've done. One of the items will be Apollo poker chips.
I hope to get the Backerkit ready and sent out within the next week.

Printing Proof and Future Project

Here's the printing proof for the front of the cards. Soon the printing will begin. I'll check with WJ to get a estimated print time. I'm not sure if the custom labels will slow down the printing but if it does I doubt it will slow us down much. From my experience with WJ, once I get the proof they normally print within the next week.
These will be shipped by air which takes only a few days after printing and finishing.
I was hoping to launch my next project which will be a follow up project to this one. Since I have a large collection of photos available, I want to put together a Apollo 11 photo book. Unfortunately Kickstarter won't allow another project to launch until this one is fulfilled.
No problem because this one looks to be getting fulfilled within the next month.

Labels are almost ready to send to the printer

There's a reason I'm the only person that's done these variable data labels... that's because it's not the easiest thing in the world to do. lol
But with that said, I almost have the labels ready to send to the printer. To make these labels, I have to make an individual file for each label. I have to enter in the name, location and size of each crater.... then I have to go to Wikipedia to find a photo of the crater.
It's a lot of work but the end result will be great. Each one of you that supported me will have a unique deck (that nobody else in the world has).
While doing these labels are taking a few days longer than I anticipated, we're still on target for a July delivery. In fact, by the end of this upcoming week I should have a closer finish date that I can tell you. I'm hoping we can deliver earlier than planned. Fingers crossed!!
